Single-Story Home: Full Roof Replacement in San Pedro 90732
For this full roof replacement in San Pedro 90732, QRS tore the old roof off a single-story home down to the deck and replaced every part of it: the shingles across its many hips and valleys, the two-car garage wing and the flat roof over the back patio.
The owner first contacted us looking for a roof repair. After reviewing the intersecting slopes and patio cover, we recommended a full replacement so both roof systems could be handled together.
The pitched sections were rebuilt with TotalShield® architectural shingles in a warm tan blend that complements the cream stucco, with new ridge caps along every hip and ridge. Over the back patio, the crew installed a new torch-down roof with a white reflective cap sheet as part of our FlatGuard® flat roof system.
New attic vents went in, every pipe was flashed and painted to match the shingles, and both brick chimneys were flashed to keep water out.
At handoff, we also provided a RoofCare Plan® with scheduled visits for routine follow-up and maintenance after installation.
Homes with both sloped and flat sections need a roofer who knows both systems and how to tie them together without leaks. QRS crews handle architectural shingle replacements and flat roof systems every day across the South Bay and the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
