Is the roof visualizer free?
Yes. You enter your name and email, and you can try as many colors as the daily limit allows. There is no obligation.
How accurate are the colors?
The preview is a good guide to the look, but it is not an exact match. Lighting, your screen and the product all change how a color appears, so check a physical sample before you decide. We can bring samples to your free roof evaluation.
Which colors can I try?
Ten shingle colors, from dark and light grays to tans, browns and white. Ask us about specific products at your free roof evaluation, and we can bring samples.
How does the address option work?
We look up your address and find the sharpest aerial picture of your roof available from Google, then show the roof in the color you pick. The imagery can be a year or two old, and it is not available at every address; if it is not, upload a photo instead.
What kind of photo works best?
A clear daylight photo taken from the street or yard that shows the whole roof. Avoid photos with heavy shadows, snow or glare.
What happens to my photo and address?
They are used to create your preview and are not published. We keep the address you look up with your sign-up so a roofer can follow up, and we use your name and email to send roofing tips and offers. You can unsubscribe from any email.
Does this replace a roof evaluation?
No. The visualizer is for choosing a look. A free roof evaluation is how we find out what your roof actually needs, with photos and a written scope and price.
